1. Tell us a bit about the person behind the keyboard (this is not a gaming resume).
38 years old this summer, been gaming since I was 8 years old and got my first C64.
I play golf, but not as much as I would like to.
I go to my local pub a few times per week where I meet my mates and have a pint or two.
I read a lot, best sci-fi book is by far The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It made me laugh a lot =)
2. What makes being a pirate the ideal career for you?
Life as a pirate is a life with lots of targets.
As long as I have ammo in my turrets and a target in my sight I'm happy.
3. Please tell us a bit about your character, what can you fly, what experience do you have of EVE.
The following are the more important corporations that have had an impact on my EVE career.
Spice Cafe
When I started to play eve I got invited to Spice Cafe, the CEO was very friendly and to me seemed to have all the anwsers that I could ever want.
I got kicked from the corp cause I bought them a TS server, I had problems hearing what they said on Raidcall, and the CEO took this as an atempt from me to take over his corporation.
After that I had Jade in varius mining corporations as well as my own alt corporations untill I deleted her
Eve University
As I got kicked from Spice Cafe with Jadeheart I met a few friendly players in varius channels, and thats where I heard about Eve University.
I decided it would be something to try out and created Angel T Hunter to join them.
When I joined them I never heard from the mentor that was asigned to me, and it all ended with me spinning my ship and quitting eve.
During the Chrissmass of 2013 I stumbled upon Mark726's lore talk on Eve vegas. This got me back into the game.
I rejoined E-Uni since they had kicked me for being inactive, and left to rejoin again since I did not want to be part of a wardec.
During this time I was still spinning my ship in station as I was getting to know the lore community.
Multispace Technologies Inc
I knew I needed to do something to learn pvp, something I was fairly good at in other games, so I left E-Uni hoping Null was the place where I could learn pvp.
Multispace Technologies Inc was a small corp with swedish players, but unfortunaly their idea of me learning pvp was to have me gatecamp in a badly fitted Rifter.
I started to go inactive again and decided I needed to get out of that corporation.
24th Imperial Crusade
I joined FW hoping it would be a good way to learn pvp, but it only ended with myself getting killed since I did not understand the plexing mechanics and my allies didnt want to share the LP's.
Stillwater Corporation
I then joined a pirate corporation and their I learned to fly in small cruiser gangs.
I also finaly got to learn some basics, like station and gate mechanics.
However, the corp was not as active as one might think, and I ended up doing more roams with a blue pirate corp named Hornets Cartel.
I really wanted Stillwater Corporation to be my permanent home, but since I spended more time with Hornets Cartell and did so little with my own corp, or alliance for that matter, I decided to move on. I would have joined Hornets Cartell if it was not for the fact that they was a French speaking corporation.
Stay Frosty.
I joined Stay Frosty. since I had heared that Rixx Javix was a chill dude.
Unfortunaly, I did not feel like I learned anything or fitted in to the corporation, so I left them pretty quickly and decided it was time to try something new.
Signal Cartel
I wanted to try out exploration and therefor joined Signal Cartel.
I did however miss the action and thrill of PvP and left them very soon.
Cherry-Poppers
Roaming around in lowsec one night I met a few guys that seem to be chill, so I joined them.
However it did not take long to notice how raw their corp culture was.
And that was the reason that I left them.
Calamity Inc.
I found a new corporation in recruitment channel, and I was told from the CEO that all they wanted to do was roam around in lowsec without any blues.
So I joined them, only to see a mail next time I logged on saying that we joined an alliance and were to move to null.
At the time, it was not what I wanted to do.
Stellar Shadows.
So one night I was complaining about this to a friend I met in the Arek'Jaalan community, El Geo, and he introduced me to a guy he knew, Seliah.
Seliah became my mentor and I joined his corporation.
Almost everything I know about solo pvp is cause of Seliah.
However, Seliah felt that he could not dedicate himself to being a CEO in that point of his life, and asked me to move to another corporation where I could continue to learn pvp.
Pathfinders.
I then joined El geo's corp since he had just left the corp he was in with a few corpies.
However, I found myself flying around by myself most of the time.
And although all of the guys was nice and friendly, they wanted to be mercs, wardecing others.
The way I see things, finding a target in hisec is like looking for a niedle in a hay stack...
Repo.
So, as I was roaming around one evening Seliah convos me asking how I was doin, and I told him the truth, I was not having fun.
He suggested I joined the corp he was in, Repo. and so I did.
Becoming a full member in that corp is what I'm most proud of in eve.
I had finaly found a permanent home, and it had taken me 2 years.
unfortunaly, the bittervets where not happy with the news of skill injectors in Eve Online.
Many decided to unsub, active members started to leave the corporation.
when I joind, there was about 10-12 active guys. When I left, we were only 3 left.
Johnny Nolm (a guy a recruited) Blubba Suggis and me.
Vagrant Skies
I got Johnny into joining Vagrant Skies and joined them myself just so he had a friendly face in corp for a while.
I felt like a dick for recruiting him into Repo. just to move him into another corporation, but I think it was for the best.
Without the vets in Repo. he would never learn as mush as he should.
Anyway, I left as I felt Johnny was getting settled and started to join in on weekly roams, getting friends and such..
Forever Winter
found them in recruitment channel one evening, great guys, great corp culture.
Was told on TS before I joined them that they did not want any blues, everyone was a target.
So I joined, started to moving into their hole only to be told not to shoot at the guys living in the next hole.
So I moved out, started to spin my ship in Dodixie while I was thinking, is Angel fucking jinxed? why the fuck cant I find a home?
I decided to sell Angel, but on the second day that I had her on the Bazzar, CCP Seagull was talking about skill extractors comming in the next release.
So I stoped the sale of Angel, thinking I could strip her of her SP.
Black Rebel Rifter Club
I met a guy in a public channel named Darth Terona, and I blued him since he just like me likes to help newbros (I spend a lot of time in rookie help channel).
He told me about his corp and I decided to join, and it turned out to be a match.
I had not had that much fun since I left Repo.
I got voted in after about a month, and everything was fine.. Until one backstabbing son of a bitch of a corpie named Clete Olgidar decided to attack me.
I did what I thought anyone would do, I killed and podded him, and informed him that I would take up the incident on the forum where others would decide his future.
So I made my post but the CEO told me I was going to far naming and shaming him. And he could not believe that I actually podded him too.
It took me less than 30 seconds to make up my mind about leaving the corp.
If they dont have the brains to see that I was trying to protect my brothers from a fucking awoxer and if they rather believe his bullshit story about me not being green on his overview, then I dont want to be part of their corp.
My API will show that I was not the aggressor.
OPERATION BLACKLIST
I started to look for a new corp in recruitment channel, got an invite to a public channel. The guy in it asked me what I like to do and I said something like pew pew stuff.
He then tells me I will fit right in and I join, only to see it was a miner corp with some kind of activity in null when they was not mining in hisec.
I bursted out in laughter and left them.
Interstellar Booty Hunters
So I continue to look for a corp in recruitment channel and someone sends me an invite to Interstellar Booty Hunters public channel.
Nice guys, but they had to much pve content going on in their corp for my liking.
After that I started to move more skillpoints over to Nadja.
Presley Enterprises
Mostly europeans, called emselfs a pirate corp.
but there was no oumph in their harr and yarrs in my oppinion.
I left them after just a few days, even though all of them was nice guys.
Flying Blind.
Nice guys, had the heart at the right place so to speak..
But they felt for some reason that I can not understand myself that they had a need of being blue to almost everything to be able to survive in lowsec.
I started to look for a new corporation, a corp with likeminded people. A corp that just dont give a fuck, where its all about blowing up internet spaceships.
A corp that was willing to teach pvp to others, with no skillpoint requirments, kinda like Stillwater and Repo., and kinda like Black Rebel Rifter Club.
And thats why I'm here..
4. Do you have any PvP experience?
Yes, about 1 year of frigate pew pew, and about 6 months of cruiser small gang pvp.
5. Have your read our [NOFUX] code of cunduct, and can you commit to flying by it?
I fucking wrote the damn thing! >.<
6. How do you currently support yourself financially, and how do you plan to support yourself financially should you become a pirate?
I buy a plex every month that I sell in jita 4-4. besides that I get a bit of isk on loot and drones that I pickup.
